Club History The club started life in 1983 as Redcar CSC but following a decline in membership, particularly in the Redcar area the membership voted at the AGM in 2001 to change to its present name of Teesside & Darlington Hoops. Membership Membership has increased since the name change and now stands at approx.40, covering as wide an area as Teesside, Co. Durham and North Yorkshire. Membership fees are currently £15. In addition to member season books the club has 7 season books. Meetings The club meets on the first Thursday of the month at Hopetown and Whessoe Working Men's Club on the Brinkburn Road, Darlington at 7 p.m. New members and non members are welcome. The club also places an advert in the noticeboard pages of the Celtic View and is also listed on www.thecelticfanzone.com New club badges and polo shirts are also available to buy aswell as mugs and other items.
